Well, I’ve had the tree theme for a while now, and I thought a change was in order. That, and I was bored. So here goes. A new theme and a new look for this site.

I just spent the day setting up a new family website. I’m using wordpress mu as the back end for it. The cool thing about using wordpress mu, rather than standard wordpress, is that you can set up each user with their own site using subdomains.

Since I’ve been traveling so much lately, I haven’t been able to do much with the Mission Disk project. But the good news is that Darrell has been hard at work updating the website and getting all the software versions of the included programs up to date. And now he’s put out a new release(v 1.1) of the disk. So check it out.

I know I haven’t posted much here lately. The new job has kept me pretty busy. But since the new version of Wordpress came out last week, I thought I should start upgrading my sites. This one happens to be the first one. So now this site is proudly running Wordpress 2.5.

Well, last night I finally moved my last Blogger page over to a hosted domain. I spent a good bit of time finding a theme I liked, and adjusting the pictures in my imported posts to fit the new theme. I think it looks good, but there is always room for improvement. So comments would be appreciated.
I know it’s been a little while since I posted here. The reason is that I’ve been very involved in moving my other Blog over to it’s own host. Well, I just created this blog. This is going to be a new place where I can rant and vent my own struggles and opinions on life. I have another blog where I post pretty regularly, but the focus of that blog is news. Since these posts will not be “news” in the same way, I didn’t want to have them in with the other posts on that blog.
Some of the posts on this blog may well be news related, but the focus will still be more on my opinions and how I am affected, rather than the news itself.
