The fact that I disagree with someone&#039;s beliefs does not make me intolerant of their person.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;There is another option to consider when discussing beliefs:   1. I am right, you are wrong; 2. You are right, I am wrong; &lt;i&gt;3. We&#039;re both wrong.&lt;/i&gt; ;)</description>

<p>That is so true.  Tolerance is the ability to accept <b><i>people</i></b> who have a different belief system, not necessarily to accept their <b><i>beliefs</i></b>.  The fact that I disagree with someone&#8217;s beliefs does not make me intolerant of their person.</p>
<p>There is another option to consider when discussing beliefs:   1. I am right, you are wrong; 2. You are right, I am wrong; <i>3. We&#8217;re both wrong.</i> <img src='http://www.theonlinerant.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
